Sylvia Sage

I am on a mission to build healthier and more humane workplaces. With over 25 years’ international experience and, as a life-long learner, with qualifications in business administration, coaching, neuroscience, meditation and wellbeing coaching, therapy and psychology, I work as a leadership, team, and wellbeing coach and facilitator with multicultural agencies and non-governmental organisations around the world and public authorities in the UK, to help people realise their potential, manage stress and enhance their wellbeing, and build better managed, more resilient and more respectful workplace cultures. We need to gain a better understanding of the prevalent stressors within the organisation and its environment, defining together what constitutes desired and undesirable behaviours, and, through a shared understanding and alignment of individual and organisational values, to develop frameworks and codes of conduct that are created and owned by all, and which act as points of reference in the daily life of the organisation. I have published numerous articles in notable UK journals on Respectful Workplaces; How to Tackle Workplace Discrimination, Bullying and Harassment; Working with Dysfunctional Teams; Introducing Mindfulness Practice at Work, and related topics. My languages are English and German (both mother tongues) and French to degree level.

Anna Sanders

Anna brings extensive experience in executive coaching, leadership and organisational development across a range of settings including Oxford University, where she currently leads on OD practice and employee coaching.  Anna’s proven track record in senior management roles informs all of her OD and training practice, providing a solid understanding of the practical, complex and competing challenges facing managers, an appreciation for individuals’ skills and knowledge, and a passion for using time well. Anna brings expertise in leadership, performance and change to design development programmes and workshops encompassing evidence-based input, experiential training, psychometric profiling, and coaching, and has a particular interest in strategy development, resilience, communication and quality improvement. A highly-skilled facilitator, Anna has great success in engaging clients positively in learning and change within high pressure work environments.  While too often consultancy projects end in impractical shelved reports, and too much training relies on off-the-shelf solutions, Anna is laser-focused on bringing flexible support, expertly designed, with the client’s needs and ambitions at the heart.  Anna facilitates departments, teams and individuals to make sense of the messy, create bold plans and forge ahead on their own terms.

Tristan Sage

As an experienced coach, mentor and facilitator Tristan enables individuals, groups and teams to strengthen their self-understanding and potential, both to develop themselves within their roles and contexts, and to manage their personal and career development. After his first degree in Classics and Modern Languages, Tristan worked with a range of corporate and public sector organisations in professional training in Vienna. After gaining an MBA, he specialized in management development as an associate lecturer and personal development advisor with the Open University Business School. Over the last 20 years he has been a management trainer, facilitator, mentor and coach, leading and managing programmes in 28 countries, supporting staff and managers in service and industrial organisations, and in the public and third sectors. He has worked with team leaders, middle management, senior management and with specialists at all levels. He has expertise in Experiential Action Learning, employing a particular client-centred enquiry process; in working with groups, using the dynamics of the group as the learning arena; in Team Coaching, with a qualification led by Peter Hawkins. Tristan facilitates programmes on Leadership, Supervision, Organisational Behaviour, Corporate Culture, Communication and Influencing, Personal Leadership, Self-Management and Resilience.  As an Executive Coach he employs a range of approaches, among them a focus on facilitating insight into the unconscious personal and organisational dynamics at play within an individual’s or team’s role. In his home region of Dorset, UK, Tristan also works on a voluntary basis in business mentoring (Dorset Mentors) and coaching for public and third sector organisations (The Resilience Project).

Collectively we can find ways of helping each other overcome most things. If organisations can encourage and embed these collaborative, cultural human mechanisms, then both they and their people will recover their resilience, effectiveness and momentum that much faster.
